Edward Harry Catlin, 94, of Charleston passed away August 2, 2014 at Sweet Briar Assisted Living. He was retired engineer from WV American Water of Charleston and American Water Works of PA. He was a graduate of Penn State University and he served as an Army Medic in WWII. He is survived by his wife Louise Catlin of Charleston. One Son Paul L/ Catlin (Karen) of Laurel Springs, NJ, Grand Daughter: Allison Meacham of Boston; two Sisters: Virginia Townsend of NY and Audrey Catlin of Rochester, NY; Brothers Don Catlin (Deceased)Earle Catlin of Horsehead, NY and Jimmy Catlin of South Port, NC. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Caitlin, it is so sad to hear about the passing of my friend and fellow water company employee Ed. We had many long phone and in person conversations during our working years and Ed was someone I could always count on for assistance and advice.
