Eldred Adkins was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas on October 2, 1918 and passed away in Fresno, California on March 3, 2011 at the age of 92. He was a turkey grower for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Adkins of Caruthers; and daughters, Joyce Griffin of Easton and Sharon Vick of Caruthers.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Full Gospel Church at P.O. Box 296, Caruthers, CA 93609.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Lisle Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6, 2011. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm in Washington Colony Cemetery on Monday, March 7, 2011.
