Elisa Valles Alarcon entered Heaven's gates on July 25, 2013.
She was born in San Francisco De Oro, Mexico on December 6, 1930.
She was a very kind and loving person with a gentle soul and had a generous heart, and was giving to others. She made us laugh with her stories and taught us to be respectful towards other people. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, gardening, and astronomy. She was an avid reader of the newspaper, biographies, mysteries and even books about ancient civilization. She was clever in her own writing, and was good with numbers. She loved cooking for the family. On the weekends she loved going to garage sales and look for antiques.
Mom had an unwavering faith in God. She was a Guadalupana at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She was involved with the church and assisted with numerous fundraising events. She also volunteered for the Santa Paula Library as a member of the Friends of the Library.
Elisa was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Raymond Alarcon. She is survived by her son Oscar Alarcon and wife Norma, daughter Diana Alarcon, step children Raymond Alarcon Jr, Barbara Mendoza, Rosemary Tumaimate, and grandchildren.
