McGowan, Elizabeth Laura "Betty"(Quinn) died Sunday at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, Fr. Jonathan Perrotta will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter Laura Fry (Stephen) and sisters Jean Talaski and Eileen Ruff. She is preceded in death by her husband Hugh E. McGowan; parents Martin and Laura (Malpass) Quinn; sisters Claire McMann, Helen Markey, Anne Brown and Lucille Harper; brothers Charles Quinn, Art Quinn, John Quinn and Riley Quinn. Elizabeth was a graduate of the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor's dental hygiene program. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.hillfh.com.
