Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Allen - a native and lifelong resident of Mobile County, AL died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Allen was an avid outdoors woman, enjoying fishing, hunting, laughing, pulling pranks and above all loved her family and friends. She retired as a bus driver from the Mobile County Public School System.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph James Allen. She is survived by two children, Karen Allen Humphrey Grepke and Joseph James "Joe" Allen, Jr.; six grandchildren, Eroica Johnson, Brooke Dees, Jeremy Shields, Brittney Allen, Blaine Bolton, and Adam Humphrey; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Allentown Cemetery.
