Eloise Williamson Caskey
DeQuincy - Eloise Williamson Caskey passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at The Care Center of DeQuincy.
She gave of her time and herself to her family and the entire community. She opened her heart and her home to anyone who needed her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd "Joe" Caskey; her parents Joe and Mertie Williamson; son Thomas "Tommy" Darvin Caskey and 2 grandchildren Justin Blake Caskey Laird and Harley Earl Welch. Survivors include daughters, Barbara "Bobbie" Welch and husband David of DeQuincy, Yvonne Caskey of DeQuincy, Arlene Dougharty of DeQuincy, Amanda Willis of Oberlin and Candace "Candy" Caskey of Oberlin; brothers, Dewey "Pete" Williamson and wife Bernadine of Lake Charles and Thelton Williamson and wife Cathy of Longville; sisters, Eveline Moore and husband J.W. of Mittie, Thelma Joyce Williamson of DeQuincy and Marie Gott and husband Earl of Evangeline; 9 grandchildren, Tina Remedies, Sherry Langley, Larry Dougharty, Jr., Elizabeth Picard and husband Scott, Sharlene Caskey, Logan Thompson, Joseph Caskey, Kaitlin Caskey and Kiersten Caskey and 11 great grandchildren.
Her Visitation will be on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 1:00 - 10:00 p.m. at Hixson Snider Funeral Home Chapel and resume on Sunday, October 28 from 8:00 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be Sunday, October, 28 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne LaCaze officiating.
