Elsie Ising Abell, 87 years of age died Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg, IN. Elsie was born September 7, 1925 to the late Edward and Anna Mae Ising in Louisville, KY. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Abell who died in 1993, and two brothers Donald and Edward Ising. She was a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany for over 45 years and a retired secretary from American Commercial Barge Lines, in her later years Elsie was a volunteer for Lay Ministries in New Albany.

Great grandson: Michael Crabtree
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
