Elsie went to her Heavenly Home on April 16, 2013. She was born in Farmington, IA on May 2, 1910, daughter of Frank E. & Elsie M. McElroy Muntz. She was preceded in death by her son Richard Bowers, granddaughter Claudia Hasting and son-in-law Elvin L. Hasting. Elsie is survived by her daughter Betty of MWC, grandson Rodney Bowers & wife Deborah, sons Christopher & wife Ashley all of TX, Michael & wife Patricia of Wash. D.C., also half-sisters Louise Rider & Eloise Syphert of Iowa. She worked for Foster's Florist for over 17 years. She loved to sew and work in the yard, made & sold many quilts & enjoyed craft show. She will be missed. Services provided by Paylor Family Funeral Chapel on Sat. April 20th at 1:00 P.M. Internment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Marci (McElroy) Henry
I'm sorry for your loss. I would have liked to have met her. I'm related to Elsie's mom's side of the family. She and my dad were cousins but never met. My grandpa was Chester Arthur McElroy, Elsie May's brother.
