Memorial services for Elton Lavon Alford, 73, of Frankston are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Elton passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012 at his residence in Frankston. He was a supervisor for Reynolds & Kay building highways before his retirement. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was born on June 21, 1939 in Bullard to Elton and Kate Ivey Alford. He is survived by his companion, Joan Alford; two daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" Sheppard and Stacie Breeden; two sisters, one brother, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren .
Elton was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gary Alford; and son, Michael Scarborough.
