Ernest Leroy "Bud" Barber, 71 of Greensburg passed away on May 10, 2012. He was born on January 24, 1941 in Batesville, IN the son of Thomas Franklin and Florence Isabelle (Mangold) Barber. Bud was a 1959 graduate of New Point High School. He married Carol J. Crank on April 5, 1985. Bud worked at BCA as a tool and dye maker.
Survivors include: Wife- Carol J. Barber, Children- Bridgett Ann (Rollin) Giles, Lora Jean (Eric) Cochran, David (Wendy) Bockover, and Michelle (Carl) Napier, Grandchildren, Ashley Giles, Katie Giles, Corey Cochran, Evan Bockover, Haley Bockover, and Tyson Bockover, Great Grandchildren- Lizzie and Abby, Sisters- Connie Arnett, Pearletta (Charles) Roberts, Brothers- Harold (Kristin) Barber and Everett (Marilyn) Barber. He was preceded in death by: His Parents and Brothers- Kenneth Barber and Dallas Barber.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. Rev. John Mattern will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Rossburg Cemetery.
