Ervin Franklin Blackwell passed away August 30, 2010 at the age of 72. He was born August 13, 1938 to Julius and Elsie Blackwell in Plum, Texas.
Ervin enjoyed camping, gardening, taking cruises and spending time with his two dogs, Mojo and Bo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Blackwell and his parents.
Ervin is survived by his son, Mitchell Blackwell and his wife Debbie of Smithville; grandson, Nicholas Blackwell of Smithville; granddaughter, Kendall Blackwell of Smithville and brother, Marvin Blackwell and his wife Geneva of Smithville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 2nd from with Rosary following at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Friday, September 3rd at St Paul's Catholic Church, Smithville.
Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
