Estel Bolton, age 81, of Unionville, died Wednesday at the Richland-Bean Blossom Health Care Center. Born October 23, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Alfred and Jewell (Bolton) Bolton. He was a union carpenter and a member of Carpenters Union Local #1664 in Bloomington. He also was a member of the Eastview Church of the Nazarene and loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Dykes) Bolton, one daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Jeffrey Wimmer, of Bloomington, one sister, Charlotte Bellamy, of Bloomington and three grandchildren, Tyler, Tristan and Tessa Wimmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Bolton, his mother, Jewel Bolton Jones, one sister, Shirley Crites and one brother, Carl Bolton.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday (09/23) at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel in Bloomington with Pastors Richard Burdett and Richard Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday.
