Barrickman, Ethel M, 81 passed on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at her home on Coach Gate Wynde. She had been ill for three weeks, and her death was unexpected.
She was born May 4, 1929 and had lived in Perry County until she moved to Louisville where she married Darrell Barrickman who preceded her in death on January 17, 1988. Ethel had many friends and customers in the Louisville area since she had spent most of her life as a beautician.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sisters, Helen Wassum of Orlando, Florida and Dale Hamilton of Louisville; step-son, Ray Barrickman; step grand-daughter, Taylor Ray; Several devoted nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 NOON, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home at Westport Road. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Goshen. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Tuesday.
In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested memorials to the Shiloh United Methodist Church Building Fund, 9611 HWY 42 W, Goshen, KY 40026.
