Ethel M. Gee, 95 passed away Friday, August 03, 2012 at Rest Haven Manor in Albion, IL.
Ethel was born June 4, 1917 in Lynnville, IN. Her parents were Louis and Gussie (Pilkington) Strunk. She married Merritt Gee in December, 1940 in Henderson, KY and he preceded her in death in 1981.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Lana (Harry) Kortge of Park Forest, IL, Carolyn Myers of Albion, IL, , Ruth (Gary) Turpin of Evansville, IN, grandchildren; Dale Kortge of Littleton, CO, Ryan Kortge of Manteno, IL, Mike (Candy) Wildt of Moweaqua, IL, Joe (Carla) Wildt of Albion, IL, Susan (Stephen) Yandell of Mt. Vernon, IL, Wayne Turpin of Evansville, IN, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 1 granddaughter; Melody Kortge and 1 son-in-law; Clifford Myers.
Graveside service will be Monday, August 6, 2012 at 2:00PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Evansville, IN. There will be no visitation. Ingram Funeral Home of Albion, IL entrusted with arrangements. Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
