Eugene E. Williams, 83 of Chula Vista, passed away on December 17, 2012. Gene was the son of Edward and Margaret Williams and was born in Peckville, PA on November 3, 1929. He retired after 20 years of service in the Air Force in 1970. He went on to further retire from Avis in 1992. For many years he was actively involved as a coach in Little League, and was a member of the Elks.
Gene is survived by his wife Rose Williams, son, John Williams, daughter in-law, Heather Taylor-Williams, two grandchildren, Crimson Williams and Ashley Williams, and his brother, Father Rayner Williams. He will always be in the hearts of his family, and will be missed by all.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 in Chula Vista. Visitation will be held in the Serenity Room at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey from 8-10 a.m. Funeral Service and Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima at 11:00 a.m., followed by internment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum.
