Evelyn "Katy" Roberta Allen, 78, passed away April 1, 2011 at her home following an illness. Visitation will be from 1-2pm, Tuesday, April 5, at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2pm, with burial in Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
Born on October 1, 1932 in Pawnee, OK, she grew up in Chanute, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Roe Allen in 1999. Katy and Bob were married on February 17th, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Surviving children are Vickie (Michael) Feitl, Desoto; Mark (Michelle) Allen, Olathe; Trish (Steve) Norris, Kansas City, KS; Lori (Corky) Carcopa, Olathe; and Andy Allen, Olathe; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
