Evelyn F. Atkins, 86, of Belleville, Ill. Born April 21, 1923 in Kellogg, Idaho, Passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at the Rosewood Care Center, Swansea, Ill. Mrs. Atkins retired from Peabody Coal Company.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred T. and Rose Marie Atkins, nee Jacquemin.
Surviving are her brothers and sisters Patricia Fredericks, Belleville, Ill., Isabel Atkins, Belleville, Ill., Donald Atkins, Bartlesville, OK., and Philip Atkins, Belleville, Ill.; eleven Nieces and Nephews, and Sixteen Great Nieces and Nephews.
The Atkins family would like to specially thank the staff at Hospice of Southern Illinois and Rosewood Care Center.
Memorial Service: Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, March 25, 2010 at St. Augustine Church, 1900 West Belle Street, Belleville, Ill., with Interment following the service at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
