Evelyn Edith Brady, 89, of Victoria, passed away on June 22, 2013. Evelyn was born January 4, 1924 to the late Walter and Elsie Fiek Pilgram. She was a graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in business and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. After college she worked at the family owned Long Mott Gin prior to marriage. Evelyn wed John Trice Brady on June 22, 1952, at the Trinity Lutheran Chapel. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a member of the Mary Martha Group at Trinity Lutheran Church. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Kathy Connally and husband Curtis of Fordtran; son, Kyle Brady and wife Gail of Fordtran; brother, Walter Pilgram, Jr. and wife Ann, of Long Mott; grandchildren, Cole (Christy) Brady, Kench (Lindsey) Connally, Trice (Jacquelyn) Connally and great granddaughter, Claire Connally. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant son. A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 10 A.M., at Trinity Lutheran Church with Don Angerstein officiating. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kench Connally, Trice Connally, Cole Brady, Joey Hencerling, Jeff Siebeneicher, Corbey Salyer and Tommy Pilgram. Honorary pallbearers are Evelyn's lifelong friends "The Ladies" of Mary Martha Circle and WELCA.
