Evelyn Joyce Cariolano, 79, of Spooner passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
Evelyn was born on August 23, 1933 to Arther and Almina (Lester) Hubbell in Stone Lake, Wisconsin. She graduated from Shell Lake High School in 1950. She married William Cariolano in Solon Springs at their residence in 1975. She owned and operated Country Aire Beauty Salons in both Solon Springs, and Spooner for the past 30 years. William passed away in 1997. Evelyn enjoyed fishing, gardening, knitting and crocheting, spending time out-of-doors, listening to music, and dancing.
Evelyn is survived by: two daughters; Conchetta "Connie" Khalar of Spooner, and Kelly (Dale) Coddington of Hayward, five step children; Joni, Jodi, Jerry, Jeff, and Jori, four brothers; Bill (Roseanne) Hubbell of Princeton, MN, Roy Hubbell of New Richmond, WI, Ed Hubbell of Hertel, WI, and Rance Hubbell of Trego, WI, two sisters; Irene (George) Micheals of Spooner, and Mary Cunningham of Trego, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded by her parents, husband, William, and two brothers, Leon Hubbell and Arthur Hubbell.
A memorial service will be held for Evelyn on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spooner with Pastor Russ Leeper officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
