FRANCES A. GARRISON

July 30, 1939 - February 23, 2010
Funeral Services for Frances A. Garrison, 70, of Lexington, will be at 11a.m. Friday, February 26, 2010 at Woodridge Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. Viewing and visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday evening at Woodridge Funeral Home.

Mrs. Garrison passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Born July 30, 1939 in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late George W. Baldwin and Agnes T. Dempsey. Mrs. Garrison was a loving and devoted homemaker, and was an avid fan of the "American Idol" television series. She also enjoyed time shopping at yard sales.

She is survived by her loving husband of more than 30 years, William E. "Bill" Garrison; daughters, Agnes Lucinda Hammer (husband Donn) of Columbia, Wanda Kay Cannon (husband Tom) of West Columbia, and Susan Lynne Tobias (husband Terry) of Gilbert; a sister, Georgiana Mooneyham of Columbia; 8 grandchildren, Toby Hammer and Michael Hammer, both of Columbia, Aaron Otis of Georgia, Alex Sharpe and Angela Cannon of West Columbia, Melanie Evans, Crystal Collins and Teresa Tobias, all of Lexington; 6 great-grandchildren, Austin Hammer, Ashley Hammer, Bridget Hammer and Anson Hammer, all of Columbia, Craig Heflin and Graham Collins, both of Lexington; and a step-daughter, Katie Dougger of Elizabethton, TN. Also surviving are her beloved pets, "Max" and "Tiger".

She was predeceased by her parents; and a granddaughter, Stephaine L. Hammer.
