Faye G. Adkins, age 81 of East Ridge died Thursday May 17, 2012. She was born May 1, 1931 in Arab, Alabama to the late General Marion and Mamie Jane Graham. Mrs. Adkins was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph H. Norrell.
She was a member of Clearview Baptist Church. Mrs. Adkins loved her children and grandchildren, they were her life.
Survivors include her hsubad Thomas T. "Tom" Adkins; children Lebron (Kathy) Norrell. Annette (Bill) Lewis, Karen (Bill) Kapherr, and Vickie (Darrell) McCurry; brother L. C. (Dean) Graham; sister Esilee (Max) Thompson; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held1:00 Saturday May 19 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Kittle officiating. Interment will follow in the New Brashars Chapel Cemetery in Arab, Alabama at 4:30 EST.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 4-9.
