Florene Armstrong, 97, of Van Buren, AR, died Monday, March 19, 2012 in Van Buren, AR. She was born August 12, 1914 in Van Buren, AR. She was a retired cosmetic and Jewelry salesperson at Hunts Department store and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.E. "Ted" Armstrong.
She is survived by 5 nieces, Marlene Pfiefer of Danville, AR, Sharon Day of Sallisaw, OK, Barbara Seftner of Van Buren, AR, Frances Bozany of Naples, FL and Brenda McLaughlin of Tulsa, OK; 2 nephews, John R. Pursell of North Little Rock, AR and Jimmy Pursell of Van Buren, AR.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
