Florene Friday Bridger, 90, died August 14, 2012. She was born in Gaston County July 20, 1922 to the late Julius and Lula (Rhyne) Friday.
Florene is survived by one brother, Joe Rhyne Friday of Dallas, NC, and sister, Faye Friday Henderson of Huntersville, NC; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bridger.
A visitation will be held Thursday, August 16 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Dallas Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Philadelphia Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pastor Gary Weant will preside.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Philadelphia Lutheran Church.
