My grandfather was a great man, and although I didn't see him nearly as often as I'd like, he was still a mentor to me. I've spent 24 years in the Navy trying to duplicate his accomplishments, but could never quite compare to his amazing talents. Easy to talk to, friendly to be with, he'll certainly be missed.

It was with great sadness we heard about Frank's death. He was a good friend of over 20 years. We will remember his humour and kindness and our visits to Florida will not be the same without him. He truly was unique; a man amongst men. At rest with his beloved wife Jane. RIP Val and Bill Piper and Family Newport Gwent UK.

Frank will be so missed! I'll never forget his warm hugs! We had a great conversation one night at Bingo about his WWII service and I remarked "You could be my Dad!" Just then someone walked by and hearing only that, gave us the strangest look. Frank and I laughed and laughed. My condolences to all his family. Prayers and love to you all. I know he is happy to be with his Jane.

Not only will we miss you as a dear friend and fellow veteran, but as too good of a poker player. You always stood up to be counted when needed. Though there are many fond memories and things we have shared over the years, being Frank Bischoff says it all.
Our condolences to Frank's family and be assured our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this trying time.
