Francis Louis "Chick" DiDomenico was born on February 19, 1926 in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania to his parents Philip Luigi and Palma DiDomenico. He died at home with his family on November 1, 2012 in Livonia, Michigan.
He was the loving husband of the late Patsy and the beloved father of Mary Medley, Joseph (Lisa) DiDomenico, Geralann (Phil) Lester and Bobby "Sundance" (Jennifer) DiDomenico. Chick was the proud grandfather to Lauren, Joey, Joshua, Alyssa, Jonathan, Zachary, Solair and Morla. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, the late Marie Davidian and the late Alice Cocciolone as well as his parents.
Friends may visit Chick's family during a visitation in his honor on Sunday November 4, 2012 from 5pm until 9 pm with a Wake Service at 8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile, Livonia. The funeral home is located on the north side of W. Six Mile, east of Newburgh and I-275.
Chick will lie in state on Monday November 5, 2012 from 9:30 am until his Funeral Mass at 10 am at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh, Livonia, Michigan 48154. The church is located on the west side of Newburgh, south of Five Mile Road.
He will be laid to rest at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan following his Committal and Military Funeral Honors Service by the United States Navy.
Chick's family ask that memorials be made to the American Kidney Foundation in his honor.
