Francis "Frank" Newton Herlitz was born on August 4, 1935 in Napa, CA and passed away on December 4, 2012 in Merced, CA at the age of 77.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Pauline Herlitz.
He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Josephine Herlitz; daughters, Colleen (Ray Anthony) Wright, Sheri Picciano, and Mary (Trevor) Nance; grandchildren, Brittany Herlitz, Stephanie Picciano, Brennon and James Nance, Elizabeth and Alexandria Donnelly, and Sean Kuisel; great grandchildren, Jaylyn Carbisiero and Lorali Nicewonger; and brother, Robert James Herlitz.
A viewing will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 2:00pm-7:00pm with Recitation of Rosary at 6:00pm. Services will be at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10:00am with interment to follow at Merced District Cemetery. A reception will follow interment at the Stratford Evans Merced Reception Hall.
