Frank A. Bailey, died July 27, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center. He was born on October 16, 1956 in Prairie Grove, AR to Loy and Mildred (Ragsdale) Bailey. He was the loving husband of Patricia "PJ" (Stubbs) Bailey of Bentonville.
Frank was the Disability Counselor at Northwest Arkansas Community College. He was a member of the NWA Center for Equality, trained AIDS educator, former regional director for Regional Aids Interfaith Network (RAIN), former youth leader and Sunday school teacher at St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church in Fort Smith, AR, and lifelong liberal Democrat. Frank was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Bentonville and was very devoted to his family and making memories. He loved to cook and enjoyed animals.
He is survived by his wife PJ; daughter Amy Bailey of Fayetteville, three grandchildren, Yulonda, Julien, and Jasmine; two brothers Kenneth (Sandy) Bailey of Farmington and Joe & family of Fayetteville; father-in-law John Stubbs of Centerton; three brothers-in-law Paul (Bonita) Stubbs & their children, Brandon, Jason, Cory of Centerton; Todd (Shirl) Stubbs of Elmer, NJ, & James Stubbs of Avoca; sister-in-law Beth & Steve Phillips of Centerton & their children, his godchildren, Bradley, Nicholas, & Zachary, sister in law Carolyn Bailey of Owasso, OK; Niece Kim Bailey Maples & husband Tom of Owasso, OK Great niece Brandi Maples of Owasso, OK, Great niece Brook Crawford (Travis), and great great nieces Jaden, Baylee & Laney of Owasso,OK
Memorial service will be Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the All Saints Episcopal Church, burial to be private at a later date. Services are under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home, Bentonville.
