Frank was preceded in death by his dear wife of 61 years, Doris (Hawk), bother, William (Berniece) Judge; brothers-in-law, Mel Dague, Mervil (Agnes) Hawk, Bill Hawk, Doug Hawk, Carl Hawk, Jim Decatur; sisters-in-law, Thelma (Carl) Grinold, Ada (Burl) Cieter, Deloris (Keith) Davis, Gwen Oliver, and Joanne Schlienz. Surviving him are his sister, Ann Richardson of Kalkaska, MI, sisters-in-law, Wanda Dague of Mount Pleasant, MI, Emma Decatur of DeWitt, MI, Phyllis (Stanley) Murray of St. Johns, MI, Carol (Jerry) Jackson of Wacousta, MI, Brenda (Doug) Hogan of St. Johns, MI, Glenna Hawk of DeWitt, MI; brothers-in-law, Robert (Ellie) Hawk of Lansing, MI, Bill Oliver of Lanisng, MI; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Both Frank and Doris had a fond relationship with Andrew Patrick Elliott.
Frank was a member of UAW Local 652. He loved fishing, his dog Opie, and being in his workshop.
The family gives special thanks to the entire staff at Laurels of Fulton for the professional and compassionate care they gave Frank.
A funeral mass, with Rev. Michael Williams presiding, will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge St. in DeWitt, MI. the family will receive friends one hour prior to mass at the church.
