Frank T. Lanno, Sr., 88, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday with his family by his side. Born in Syracuse, he was a resident of Liverpool for over 40 years. Frank retired from Carrier Corp after 41 years and was a member of the Moose Club and I.A.A.C. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served his country during WWII. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Lucy DeAndrea Lanno in 1995; and his stepson, Neal Esposito; brothers and sisters, Nancy, Mary, Joe, Nick, and Angie.
Mr. Lanno is survived by his daughter, Patricia (David) Dixe of CT; son, Frank T. Lanno, Jr. of OH; beloved grandchildren, Ashley Irish, Nicole Esposito-Blagg, Ryan and Benjamin Dixe, Gavin and Sophia Lanno; great-grandchildren, Brooke and Jayden Irish; brothers, Christopher Lanno of Clay, NY and Peter (Mary Lou) Lanno, of Phoenix, NY; sister, Clara (Anthony) Neutts of Eastwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday 9:15 a.m. at FARONE & SON FUNERAL HOME and 10 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Liverpool where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
