Franklin D. Acuff

September 15, 1935 - March 13, 2013
Franklin D. Acuff. Of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away March 13, 2013 at his home. He served in the US Army and retired from General Motors. He was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Franklin D. Acuff, Jr; parents, Lily and Austin Acuff; two brothers, Jack and LeRoy Acuff.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Louis Acuff; sons, David (Ann) Acuff of Ohio and Mike (Holly) Acuff of Ohio; grandsons, Will Cobert, Casey Etter, Bret and Lucas Acuff (Robin Mahal is the mother of Casey, Bret and Lucas); granddaughters, Tori (Chad) Helton and Katie (Josh) Bowlin; great granddaughters, Cheyene Helton and Madison Erb; great grandson, Charlie Helton; sister, Mary Lou Booker of Knoxville, TN; brothers, Larry (Charlotte) Acuff of Knoxville, TN and Junior (Dorothy) Acuff of Arizona and many nieces and nephews. He had lots of love from his extended family of the late Everette and Margaret Epperson and all the family.
The family will receive friends from 2-4PM Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 4:00PM with Rev. Randy Beeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Morris Bullen, John Beeler, David Culley, Ricky, Steve and David Ray Culley. Honorary pallbearers: Dennis Bullen, Jackie Brewer, Benny, Mike, Steve and Scotty Acuff.
