Frederick Earl Antis, 67, died Thursday, January 12, at home of natural causes. He was a resident of Sequim and a previous Shelton resident for over 20 years.
He was born March 22, 1944 in Bremerton, Washington to Grant & Hazel (Cox) Antis.
After graduating from Mossyrock High School, he entered the US Army. He had a long career with the Simpson Timber Company working on the railroad and then later in the plywood mill.
He is survived by his mother Hazel Antis of Sequim; his wife Nancy Ward of Sequim; his son Grant Antis of Shelton; his granddaughter Alexis Antis; and his daughter Heather Matheney of Rochester, Washington.
His hobbies were gardening & cooking. He was a big sports fan. Fred was best known for his warm sense of humor & quick wit.
He was preceded in death by his sister Roseanne & brother Danny.
At his request, no services will be held.
