Frederick Morris Agler, 90, of Kentwood passed away Sunday evening, January 23rd, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 7th, 1920 in South Bend, IN and was the son of the late Wave & Ethel (Sweitzer) Agler. Fred proudly and honorably served his country and flag in the United States Army as a Quartermaster during WWII. He had a successful career in the textile industry as a salesperson for H.D. Lee Co. and retired with 30 years of service. Fred enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, camping, and playing golf. He loved to talk and visit with people, he never knew a stranger. Fred and his late wife Marilyn loved to travel, and even went white water rafting at the age of 65. He is survived by two children; daughter Sue A. Ingham; son Stephen D. Agler; daughter-in-law Dianne Agler; five grandchildren, Brian R. (Sarah) Ingham, Amber Jean (fiancée Ted) Agler, Jessie Wave Agler, Ashley and Emily Agler. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn Jean (Anderson) Agler; son Frederick Charles (Chuck) Agler; two brothers, John & Wave Agler. Memorial Services will be held Monday, January 31st, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev.
