Fred T. Belbeck

Age 85, died April 2, 2011, born August 27, 1925, in Ojibwa, WI. Fred served with the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army during WWII. He was the owner/operator of Ace Plumbing and Heating in the Lansing area for several years and was a charter member of VFW DeWitt Post #671. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Fred is survived by his wife, Myrtle of 64 years; daughter, Linda S. (Jim) Phillipich; sons, Jeffrey A. (Pat), Wayne L. (Yvonne) and Randy S. (Bobbie); grandchildren, Craig (Michelle) Phillipich, Ann (Michael) Farhat, Tony Belbeck, Tina (Charlie) Ackels, Chad (Kim) Belbeck, Aaron (Cari) Belbeck and Kendra Belbeck; great-grandchildren, Madison and Cameron Phillipich, Sevren Farhat, Austin, Alex, Alivia and Anna Ackels, Samuel and Eliza Belbeck and La'nasia Belbeck; 5 brothers and 7 sister-in-laws. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011, noon, at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt. Interment will follow at Deepdale Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the chapel on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to VFW DeWitt Post #671, 12250 South US-27, DeWitt, MI 48820 in memory of Fred.
