Gail L. Goldstein (Kurinsky), 73, of Ocean Township, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. She was born in Neptune, NJ and lived in Deal, NJ, where she graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1957. She went on to Miami University then Upsala College in New Jersey. After getting married, she raised her family in Ocean Township. Gail worked as a paralegal locally for many years before moving to Bear Stearns in New York City in the early nineties until she retired.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Kurinsky; her daughter, Barrie Kurinsky and wife Stacy Brasner; her brother Ronald Goldstein; and granddaughter Cameron Kurinsky. Gail will be remembered in healthier days, when her home was always open to family and friends. She loved entertaining guests and talking for hours. Everyone knew Gail had a warm spirit and wouldn't hesitate to give you the shirt off her back.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Monday at 11 at Temple Beth El Cemetery at 3351 Route 33 in Neptune. Shiva will be observed at the home of ex-husband Leon Kurinsky in Wayside from Monday through Wednesday from 2-9 pm. Shiva will also be held at the home of daughter Barrie in New York City on Thursday and Friday from 4-9 pm.
