Gary Michael Ayer, age 69, of Waterford; passed away at home with his family by his side. Mr. Ayer retired from General Motors, was a member of the GTO Tigers Club and was a Waterford volunteer firefighter. Beloved husband for over 34 years to Marsha; dear father of Kristina (Andrew) Talbot; proud grandfather of Brittnee, Eryn, Karlee, Shelbee; caring brother of Russell Ayer, Patricia (Jerry) Meyer, Sharon (Mike) Nagel, Sari Ayer, Shirley Wallis, Gene Ayer, Mark Ayer, Ronald (Cathy) Ayer, Gerald (Bev) Ayer, Robert (Kathy) Ayer; brother-in-law of Cheri (Raymond) Smith, David (Cheri) Jones, James Jones. Mr. Ayer was preceded in death by his brothers Bill and Lou. The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake. Memorial visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m
