Gayle Esther Able, 72 passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at St Vincent Hospital of Indianapolis. She was the former Gayle McClure of Louisville and moved to Indianapolis in 1967 due to her husband's work. The Ables always wanted to return home to Louisville after retirement, but due to illness they were unable to do so.
Gayle is survived by her husband; Louis B. Able Jr. of Louisville, brothers; Eugene and John McClure, sons; Jeff Able of Indianapolis, Ronald Able of Louisville, daughter; Debbie Paugh of Rushville, IN. a son in law Daren Paugh and daughter in law Christy Able, grandchildren; Max and Ivy, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 12 noon Friday January 20, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown rd. with Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 3-8 pm Thursday January 19, 2012.
