Gene Adams, 69, of Van Buren, AR, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, in Central City, AR. He was born on May 7, 1943 in Paris, AR. He retired from Wal-Mart in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his father William Adams and a daughter Amanda Daniel.
He is survived by two sons, Gregg Adams of Fayetteville, AR, and Brent Lamb of Tulsa, OK; his mother, Laverne Patterson of Central City, AR; a sister, Brenda Williams of Bentonville, AR; and seven grandchildren, Destiny Adams, Jasmalynn Adams, Joshua Daniel, Madaline Lamb, Corbin Lamb, Coltin Daniel, and Dareian Daniel.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren, AR with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Gregg Adams, Brent Lamb, Jason Dunn, Barry Wilson, Nick White and James Young.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
