Gene Edgar Lenderman went to be with his Lord January 21, 2013. He was born March 12, 1934 in Coker Creek, TN to William Edgar Lenderman and Elsie Belle Miller. Gene went to grade school in Tellico Plains, TN and attended 3 years at a Jr. college in Odessa, TX.
Gene was a funny loving man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing dominos. He had a group of men that he would play with most morning. He was a fan of NASCAR and did some drag racing in his earlier years.
Gene served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 3 years. During that time he learned habits that would never leave. He was an early raiser, normally waking up before the sun came out. He was also a very nice dresser, with his attire not complete till it was fully starched.
