George N. Avdellas, age 79, entered into rest on September 14th, 2011; he was the beloved father of Neil (Cheryl), Douglas (Amy) and Tracy Avdellas; dearest grandfather of Alexander, Nicholas and Cassandra; dear brother of Therena Brooks and Bill Avdellas (Amelia); preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Stella.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 11 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 429 High Street NE, Warren, OH 44482. Visitation will be at the church at 10:30 A.M. until time of service. The family will receive friends at the Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd., Friday from 5-8 P.M. Trisagion Service at 7:30 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
