George Griffin Baltimore (Bobby), age 78, of Gettysburg formerly of Front Royal went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Gettysburg General Hospital in Gettysburg, PA.
He was the son of the late George H. Conway and Ellen B. Conway born August 1, 1933 in Washington, DC. He spent his childhood with his grandparents, the late Daniel and Eliza Baltimore of Front Royal.
After attending high school in Manassas, he served in the United States Army and Air Force. George also worked for the U. S. Postal Service in New York City and the New York City Transit Authority. George was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Front Royal.
George is survived by his daughter, Martha Espinoza of New York City; his grandchildren, Jalisa Espinoza of New Jersey and Brandon Espinoza of New York City; his one great-grandchild; his sister, Lunell E. Gaskins of Front Royal; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents George was preceded in death by two brothers, David Conway and Eston Conway and a sister, Mary (Judy) Conway.
