BARKER, GEORGE R. "BOBBY" age 58, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on May 11, 2011. He was a 1970 graduate of Ramsay High School and avid Auburn fan and attended McElwain Baptist Church. He worked in the insurance business for over 30 years with Liberty National and American General. He was preceded in death by his Father: William K. Barker. Survivors: Mother: Martha K. Barker; Daughters- Kristy Hughes (David) and Leigh Ellen Turner (Michael). Twin Brother: William "Billy" Barker: 4 grandkids that he loved dearly- DJ, Brooklyn, Dylan and Kennedy. Lifelong friend and mother of his children - Lana Barker. Funeral services will be held at Ridouts Roebuck Chapel Saturday May 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery.
