Beaverdale, Pa. He served in the US Marines in the
Pacific during WWII.
He was a Lieutenant in the NYC Fire Patrol. George was predeceased by his wife Vivian (nee Curtis) and his grandson Captain John J. McKenna IV (USMC).
Loving father of Karen (John) McKenna and Joan (Rodney) Dietrich. Dear grandfather of Allyson McKenna, Peter, James (Eliana King-Dietrich), Christine, Karen, Edward Dietrich and great
grandfather of Michaela Zehrfuhs. Also survived by his sisters Elaine Koval and Millicent Cutwright. Visiting Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9 pm at M.J. Smith Sons Funeral Home, 255 9th Street,
Brooklyn. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
