Gerald, 58, passed away January 10, 2013 in Fresno. He grew up in west Fresno and joined the United States Navy in 1972. He worked for the City of Fresno as an A/C Mechanic.
Gerald is survived by his children, Michelle Enriquez, Marcus and Joseph Areyano. He also leaves nine grandchildren, Nicole, Joseph, Moses and Samantha Enriquez, Lanae, Emily and Josh Areyano, Isabella and Robert Areyano; great granddaughter, Alice Enriquez; mother, Virginia Areyano, sister, Gloria Hinojoza; and brother, Caesar Areyano and several family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, starting at 10:00 a.m. and followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Church on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
