Gerald A. Baker, 69, passed away August 10, 2010 at Community Hospice on Sunbeam Road. God sent his angels to carry our sweet husband, father and papa to heaven. He was the son of the late Andrew and Elsie Baker of Bartow, FL.
He resided in Jacksonville for the last 50 plus years. He was the Vice President of Fred Wilson and Associates Engineering Firm. He recently was honored by the Florida Engineering Society.
Jerry enjoyed boating with his family from his home on the river, grilling and spending time with his family.

The family would like to thank the many loving friends and neighbors who have always been there, especially the past four months to help during his illness, as well as the caring, loving staff at Community Hospice.
