Gerald P. Chapman, 61, of South Dartmouth, died Thursday, October 13, 2011 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Harold "Bob" Chapman and Martha (King) Chapman, he was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth and a graduate of Dartmouth High School.
Gerald was a boat painter by trade and loved his BMW.
He is survived by his brother, Stephen D. Chapman of New Bedford and many special friends.
