Geraldine "Jerri" Adams, born April 22, 1940, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on July 25, 2012. She was baptized at 8 years old in Ozark, Al and retired after 43 years at Herff Jones Yearbooks. She was predeceased by parents James R. Clark, Sr. and Esther Granger Clark, and brother James R. Clark, Jr. She is survived by husband Lemuel "Lem" Adams, son Vincent (Carol) Adams and granddaughter Katie Adams; brother, J.C. (Elaine) Clark; nephews Kenneth Clark and Jerry (Brooke) Clark; nieces, Sherry, Rhonda Irvin, Candy Clark and Phyllis Clark; along with many other nephews, nieces, a large extended Adams family (all special). She is also survived by special friends who were always there, Virginia Sutherland, Betty Butler and Anne Hall. Visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 5pm – 7pm. The funeral service, officiated by Dr. Dale Huff will be in the chapel on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11am, with burial to follow in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery. The family would like to invite all who attend, a serving of Nancy's Italian Ice, which will be served at graveside in the cemetery after the service, in memory of Mrs. Adams.
