Geraldine "Jerrie" A. Arnold, 78, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Overland Park Regional Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on November 18, 1931 to Fred and Eileen (Semler) Swanson. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 8 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home 701 North 94th Street in Kansas City, Kansas. Friends may visit the day of service from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Arnold; both parents; sister, Muriel Koepsell; daughter, Lucretia (Lea) Arnold McVey; and great-granddaughter, Kari Arnold. She is survived by her children; Vivian (Jon) Molick, Kathy (Dave) Meech, David (Debbie) Arnold, Rita (Stan) Tremaine, Warren (Jody) Arnold, Chuck (Trudy) Arnold; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
