Gina Marie Whittemore Aring, 45, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on December 7, 2012. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Mario Alberici; her grandparents, Katherine and Robert Whittemore. She is survived by her husband, Kristjan; her parents, Larry and Eileen Whittemore; grandmother, Helen Alberici; children, Nichole, Brett (Erica), Preston, and Lewis; grandchildren, Kaylynn, Cameron, Ally, Madison and Mackenzie; sister, Mary Katherine (Chris); brothers, Larry (T.J.), Michael (Michelle); numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Gina was the happiest person we knew in spite of what life threw at her. She took care of many people and always brightened their day with her smile and laughter. We will miss her every day of our lives. Gina lived each day for her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, her favorite charity, in memory of Gina through the funeral home office. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m., today, followed by a Rosary Service at 6 p.m., tonight, both to be held at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home.
