Obituary Notice
Ginger L. Palmerton, 57, of Union City, passed away March 15, 2012 at the University of Michigan Hospital. Ginger was born April 30, 1954 in Battle Creek to Garold and Joan (Anderson) Conine. She married Keith Palmerton, February 14, 1976 in Union City. He survives. Ginger had lived most of her life in the Union City area.
Ginger devoted her life to providing care for children. She was a member of Community Unlimited-Union City, loved gardening, hosting international exchange students and having family get togethers. Ginger graduated from Union City High School in 1972.
Ginger is survived by her husband; Keith, two daughters; April (Mike) VanWormer of Coldwater, Kimberly Palmerton of Union City, one son; Ryan (Amanda) Palmerton of Union City, 3 grandchildren; Alysia VanWormer, Keristin Alexander and Zander VanWormer. She is also survived by her father; Garold Conine of Burlington, 3 brothers; Gary (Robin) Conine, Larry (Sherry) Conine, Donald Conine and one sister, Vicki (Jim) Null. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Conine.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Putnam Funeral Home in Union City. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Union City, with Rev. Burdette Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Union City.
