Giulio Spinelli, 78, of White Rock, died Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock. Mr. Spinelli was born on December 4, 1933 in Villa Pigna, Italy to Antonio and Anna Spinelli. He worked as an electrician in Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1956, moving first to Edmonton before settling in Vancouver. Mr. Spinelli worked as an independent contractor for Quadra Stone as a truck driver for many years. In 1961 he married Gwen Bakun. His wife, Gwen preceded him in death in 1972. Mr. Spinelli is survived by his brother, Luciano of Villa Pigna, Italy, sons, Robert of Salem, Oregon, and Tony of Moscow, Russia, one grandson and more friends than can be counted. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 6 at 11:00 am at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre in Surrey, BC. Interment will be at Fraser Cemetery in New Westminster.
